Chinese Taipei’s hopes at the Overwatch World Cup may have been tempered due to their fairly inexperienced roster,

but there were still standouts, including DPS duo Keng-Yu “ShaiuLin” Lin and Erh-Fu “BLUE” Kao.

But no one was more consistent than main tank ATing, whose Reinhardt play has been unchained in the current meta.

The Hong Kong Attitude mainstay was a bright spot for his team, leading the way with his shield and landing big shatters for his teammates to capitalize on.

This year’s team for defending champs South Korea is 71.43% NYXL,

an obviously very talented team that nevertheless had a hard time adjusting to the new meta heading into the Overwatch League playoffs.

And now they have to deal with the hamster!

But if anyone can do it, it’s basically-the-NYXL (feat. Fate and Carpe), but they’ll need to come in like a Meko-ball to silence the doubters.

Los Angeles Lakers great Kobe Bryant,

arguably the best player of his generation,

announced on Sunday he will retire after the 2015-16 National Basketball Association season.

Bryant, who is struggling through the worst season of his illustrious 20-year career with the Los Angeles Lakers,

said in a piece posted on the Players’ Tribune website that "I’m ready to let [basketball] go."

The decision was not totally unexpected as the 37-year-old Lakers guard has been plagued by injuries in recent seasons and had recently said he was considering retirement.

"I can’t love you obsessively for much longer. This season is all I have left to give," wrote Bryant.

"My heart can take the pounding, my mind can handle the grind, but my body knows it’s time to say goodbye."

He has appeared in 17 All-Star games, was named the Most Valuable Player for the 2007-08 regular season and landed MVP honors in the 2009 and 2010 Finals when he led the Lakers to consecutive championships.
